More Than a Temple.
A Community.
Kol Tikvah is more than a place for Shabbat and holiday services—it’s a community built through connection, commitment, and action.
Beyond the sanctuary, relationships take shape through shared purpose. The Sisterhood strengthens bonds across generations. Social Action turns Jewish values into meaningful impact. Volunteerism sustains the community and extends our care outward.
At Kol Tikvah, belonging isn’t passive. It’s lived—through participation, service, and showing up for one another.

Social Action
At Temple Kol Tikvah, we take pride in giving back to the communities we serve. Our congregation has a dedicated and active Social Action Team that has been involved in a number of activities over the past several years, including:
-
An annual High Holiday Food Drive benefiting three local food pantries.
-
Participation in the Sharon Rotary Club’s Gifts of Hope program, which provides holiday gifts to children from needy families in the local communities.
-
Supporting Evelyn House, a local shelter for homeless families
Sisterhood
The Kol Tikvah Sisterhood is a vibrant community grounded in camaraderie and shared purpose.
Members come together to support the Temple, uplift individuals, and serve the broader community through events, fundraising, volunteering, and mutual care.
Along the way, meaningful friendships form—rooted in participation, generosity, and showing up for one another.

Volunteering
At Kol Tikvah, every member (including all our teens!) volunteers in some way towards the day-to-day thriving of the temple. Volunteer opportunities include tutoring children, being in the Spirit Rising band, yard work, playing with Tikvah tots so their parents can shmooze, and much more.
